In 1971, Haim Hefer and Yehonatan Carmon wrote a kind of screenplay that documents the difficulties and hardships confronting Israel striving for peace and a better life. The musical also included songs by Sasha Argov, Naomi Shemer and David Kribushe, who was also the music director.
The list of stars included: Arik Lavie, Rivka Raz, Yona Atari and Illi Gorlitzky, in addition to dancers. All the songs were sung in Hebrew and English. The musical gained rave reviews at its New York premiere.
